The Nigerian Festival UK 2023

The Nigerian Festival UK is a day-long event to showcase, acknowledge, celebrate and preserve the cultural richness and unique heritage of current and future generations of Nigerians living in the United Kingdom. Its existence is deeply rooted and inspired by the need to bridge the cultural gaps amongst Nigerian/ African youths and adults who have not had the opportunity of learning the customs and traditions of their motherland due to being far away from home.

The Nigerian Festival UK is organised by Ebony Ambassadors and Nigerian Students’ Union UK.
Ebony Ambassadors is a community interest company whose activities bring communities together through Art, Culture, Skills Empowerment Workshops, and mental resilience workshops, Festival, Award Ceremony and Miss E.B.O.N.Y Creativity Contest. This contest promotes skills acquisition / empowerment, global culture awareness, community spirit, philanthropy and youth led / centred projects in the UK and Africa and is in its 8th years running while the Nigerian Students’ Union UK (NSUUK) is a registered Non-for-profit organisation, founded in 2011 and serves as the sponsorship body that represents all Nigerian Student Associations and societies from Universities across the United Kingdom.

The 2nd edition of this festival will feature live music performances from Nigerian & UK artists, DJ’s, Nigerian National troupes and several other cultural and indigenous groups cultural dance, fashion show, Art and craft stalls, food stalls, history, tourism, African travel stalls, Children’s corner, and lots more. These are some of the historical backgrounds and information sharing, that the Nigerian Festival seeks to bring about for all.

This 2nd edition of the festival will serve as a platform for individuals and organisations participating to establish valuable relationships and business connections that will be mutually beneficial to all.
